Lead Cookie - Risks Disclaimers
I am voluntarily participating in a mass LinkedIn outreach tactic. This is notice that the Lead Cookie Service may violate LinkedIn’s terms of use.
I understand that there are risks associated with my participation in this activity such as temporary LinkedIn account suspension, damaging of an existing business relationship, errors, the temporary request of LinkedIn to require an email address for all new connection requests, automatically getting logged out of your LinkedIn account several times per day, and risk of hacking. These outcomes may arise from my own or other’s actions, inactions or negligence, or the changing landscape of LinkedIn as a social network. Nonetheless, I assume all risks of my participation in this tactic, whether known or unknown to me.
We Follow LinkedIn’s Professional Community Guidelines. Be Real. Be Professional. Be Nice. Respect Others' Rights and Follow the Law. And Respect LinkedIn's Rights. A LinkedIn prospect may report a correspondence from us as “spam” and block your account from further contact. We cannot control the actions of third party prospects.
I understand that while Oneironaut Ventures LLC dba Lead Cookie does everything in it's ability to prevent these risks, they cannot control the actions of LinkedIn.
Update as of August 28th, 2020: I understand that Lead Cookie will notify me if I receive any temporary restrictions on Linkedin. Upon this notification, I can choose to end my engagement with Lead Cookie, or to continue. If I choose to continue, I understand that there is a risk that my profile could receive a permanent restriction which results in the requirement to enter email addresses to send connection requests.
Release of liability
I understand that by hiring Lead Cookie, I release my liability and waive my right to sue Oneironaut Ventures LLC dba Lead Cookie, their employees, owners and agents (collectively “company”) from any and all claims, including claims of the company’s negligence, resulting in reputation damage, LinkedIn profile suspension, or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in hiring Lead Cookie.
Conflict
We do not perform a check for conflicts of interest between you and prospects. We are sending a mass outreach campaign with LinkedIn. It is possible that we may reach out to an existing business relationship who is not already connected with you on LinkedIn. For example, we may accidentally message your existing customer who was never added as a first connection on LinkedIn.
Human Errors
Our process is done by hand, so at times there may be typos or errors in our outreach that could negatively affect your reputation. However, these are inevitable and while we will try to remedy any errors. We cannot fully prevent them.
